Orientation before narration
LUX143 preserves lighthouse heritage that is no longer obvious — and keeps every public claim traceable to reviewed evidence.
Belief
Heritage that remains recognizable
Not every lighthouse survives as a tower. Some survive as a light, a lens, a document, a route, a photograph, or a disputed coordinate.
LUX143 helps people recognize lighthouse heritage across identity, evidence, movement, memory, and interpretation — without weakening trust.
LUX Light Archive helps people recognize lighthouse heritage that is no longer obvious.

Story and Research are one evidence base
Story offers a guided, human-readable path. Research exposes sources, relationships, uncertainty, and open questions behind that path.
They are not separate truths. They are two readings of the same reviewed material.
Governance
The public copy test
Before any broader narrative infrastructure is described publicly, copy should pass this test.
Can a reader understand that LUX Light Archive is still the public lighthouse entry point, while Story, Research, and future guidance tools remain evidence-grounded views over reviewed material rather than autonomous story generation?
If yes, the copy is aligned. If no, keep it internal or revise it.
Evidence-grounded views over reviewed material — not autonomous story generation.
Working principles
How we build in public
Trust depth over data volume. Git is canonical for published pages. Draft and internal material stays out of public discovery until review gates are met.
Autotranslation may help readers in other languages, but English remains the editorial source of truth until a locale is manually reviewed.
